Dystar acquired Lenmar

DyStar has acquired Lenmar Chemical Corporation of Dalton, Georgia.

Dystar L.P., which supplies dyestuffs and auxiliaries to the textile and leather industries, has acquired US-based Lenmar Chemical Corporation.

Lenmar is based in Dalton, Georgia and manufactures specialty chemical products that service the Textile and Carpet, Fiber processing, Laminate floor, Water treatment, Oil and Agriculture Industries.

“Lenmar’s management has been very successful in transforming and diversifying their business over the last 3 years” commented Ron Pedemonte, President of DyStar Americas. He continued: “The acquisition of Lenmar and their manufacturing capabilities accelerates our strategy to strengthen and expand our textile and non-textile chemical business in the Americas.”

Lenmar’s customer base is predominately in the Southeast of the United States and DyStar will expand Lenmar’s products and technology to a national and global level. The combined business of DyStar L.P. and Lenmar will operate chemical manufacturing and distribution sites in Reidsville, NC and Dalton, Georgia with more than 50,000 tons of annual capacity. The transaction was initiated and negotiated by CDI Global on behalf of its client Dystar L.P.
