Technology, including Clean Tech
Recent transactions in this field include watch technology from Switzerland, automation technology and many more. We see a demand from Asia to acquire European and US advanced technology.
Clean technology consists of a diverse range of products, services, and processes that harness renewable materials and energy sources, which dramatically reduce the use of natural resources, and cut or eliminate emissions and waste. Clean technology includes recycling, renewable energy (such as wind power, solar power, biomass, hydropower, biofuels), information technology, green transportation, electric motors, green chemistry, lighting, Greywater, and energy efficiency. Investments in clean technology have grown considerably since coming into the spotlight in the early 2000’s. By 2018 it is forecast that the three main clean technology sectors, solar photovoltaics, wind power, and biofuels, will have revenues of $325.1bn.
