He was Chief Operating Officer for China Equities, restructuring the equities related businesses of the former Beijing Securities and developing, from the ground-up.
Dan has been a “China Hand” for 14 years, establishing and facilitating a number of new businesses through combinations of both organic and acquisition strategies, primarily in financial services, healthcare, technology, and other value-added service sectors.
He was the UBS Global Business Development Strategist for Equities (New York), where he either led or was a significant senior team member on numerous financial sector acquisitions on behalf of UBS, including Schwab Soundview Capital Markets, ABN AMRO Prime Brokerage and others.
Dan held a number of other senior global roles, including: Global Strategist for Equities and Equities IT (London and New York); Business Manager in Global Equities Business Management (London); Equities Business Unit Controller (London, New York and Hong Kong) and Middle Office Manager for Equity Derivatives (Chicago and New York).
