With deep sorrow, we announce that Jakub Frąckowiak, our long-term friend, the co-founder of Finelite, and the Partner of CDI Poland, passed away while in hospital. We will always remember his modesty and kindness. He always seemed to look after others and put others before himself.

Jakub had a broad experience in advising leading companies in Poland on their biggest challenges and opportunities.

He led M&A transactions in a variety of industries including oil&gas, utilities, energy, industrial manufacturing, chemicals, consumer products etc. In addition, he had an extensive experience leading various corporate finance & tax assignments specially in IP and business valuations, carve outs and business restructurings.

Jakub was a co-founder of Finélite Advisors, an advisory and investment boutique and a partner of CDI Global in Poland. Prior Jakub worked in AIB Bank and in Commerzbank, as well as a CFO of a Polish capital holding. He also worked for Grant Thornton and one of the leading Polish advisory practices where he was head of corporate finance advisory. Jakub was a Supervisory Board Member in various Polish and foreign chemical companies including publicly owned. He held a Master’s degree in economy from Poznań University of Economics and was a fellow member of British ACCA.
