Tim Smokoff Senior Advisor – Healthcare Technology

Tim Smokoff leads healthcare-focused software and technology businesses in C-suite and Board Director roles in US and international markets, leveraging 25+ years of experience at companies including Intel, Microsoft, and smaller businesses, where he built solution sales, software development, and consulting teams from the ground up, leading through design, development, and deployment of medical device and SaaS business solutions. He guides organizations through expansion and restructuring, shaping corporate strategy, product offerings, and marketing for competitive industry positioning. He has led multibillion-dollar business units at Fortune 500s and multimillion-dollar entrepreneurial startups, taking companies through product and service line development, geographic footprint expansion, M&A, strategic partnering, and fundraising, while managing internal and external stakeholder relationships and driving profitable growth and successful exits.

Tim most recently served as CEO of Breathometer, a startup company providing non-invasive health diagnostic testing, which was launched on Shark Tank in 2014. As CEO of Breathometer, Mr. Smokoff led corporate strategy and financing rounds, after refocusing and streamlining the business and team, and repositioning company from a single-purpose product, direct-to-consumer business, to a more-general health IT company with a recurring revenue model and SaaS platform. Tim holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, from the University of Washington.
