Bordo International expands its product offering through its acquisition of Typhoon Tools

Melbourne, Australia (13th March 2025) – CDI Global ANZ was engaged by Typhoon Tools to undertake a divestment process, and we are very pleased to announce that Bordo International has successfully acquired the company.

Typhoon Tools is an Australia wide branded B2B industrial tool supply company, offering a wide range of tools for the mining, industrial, agricultural, and general trade sector. Their products are of a high standard with over 1,200 SKU’s across Impact Sockets, Spanners & Spanner Sets, Toolboxes, and other General Tools. The business has warehouses in both Western Australia and Victoria with a strong and loyal customer following Australia wide.

Bordo International’s acquisition of Typhoon Tools will complement its existing line of products across drilling, threading and cutting tools; thus supplying a broader product offering to its already strong customer base. Typhoon Tools will provide Bordo International "a highly complementary offering to our customers whilst still meeting with our standards of quality at competitive pricing” says Iain Brown, Managing Director of Bordo.
