Experience & Qualifications

Johan De Geer is the Managing Partner for CDI Global Vietnam located in the Ho Chi Minh City office.

Johan has 15 years’ of executive management experience in emerging markets and is a co-founder of Endurance Capital a Vietnamese based activist investment fund. Since 2012, Johan resides in Vietnam where he was the Managing Director of Oriflame – one of the country’s most known consumer brands with a country-spanning sales network including tens of thousands of independent distributors. From 2007 to 2009 Johan De Geer worked with the Boston Consulting Group in Stockholm as a management consultant on strategy projects within areas such as M&A, Due Diligence, Organizational Development, Corporate Governance and Growth Acceleration.

From 2002 to 2006 Johan worked as a Marketing Director for Chumak – managing a cross-category product portfolio sold under one of Ukraine’s most established food brands. He also holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, and a minor in international business from St. Petersburg State University. Fluent in Swedish, English and speaks Russian, German and basic Vietnamese.
