Experience & Qualifications

Ms Peng, Yuan has more than 20 years of experience in M&A, investment banking and strategy. She has profound experience in chemicals and materials related sectors, as well as cross-border transactions.  She has worked on over 100 M&A and investment projects during her career.

Ms Peng is a founding partner of KWAY Capital, focusing on investment and M&A advisory in chemicals & materials, health and clean tech related sectors. She was formerly Head of M&A for Greater China, Global Investment Banking at OCBC, in charge of merger, acquisition and equity financing activities. Prior to that, she was Partner at the Valence Group (now part of Piper Sandler), the preeminent chemicals M&A firm, leading business in China and part of Asia and deeply involved in a number of global transactions. Before that, she served for Reliance Industries and Alison Group, heading corporate development. Earlier she had spent 7 years in strategy and foreign investment consulting in China.

Ms Peng holds MSc in Financial Management from University of London, MA from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, and BA from Southeast University.
